“ 2009 is the year of WiMAX”, so says at this year’s Computex Taipei show!
Also as in the news almost daily, is the LTE trial by this or that carrier in different country
across the world!
As the Taiwan WiMAX operators are ready to launch the wireless broadband services in the coming months, “WiMAX on the move” allows the passengers on the Taipei MRT to experience the high-speed-capabilities of WiMAX and potential broadband applications and services along the Taipei MRT line and later on city-wide.
This WIT-CLUB-sponsored Conference is to have a “good” look at the emerging 4G Broadband Wireless from the viewpoints of standards, technologies, product development, network deployment and business model for the emerging 4G broadband wireless. The two emerging standards, IEEE 802.16m and the 3GPP Advanced LTE, will be reviewed, analyzed and assessed from their own perspectives.
The speakers for this Conference are from R&D, Wireless Broadband Operators, Equipment and Test Instrument Vendors, who will cover all possible viewpoints, outcomes, and business aspects of the emerging 4G broadband wireless applications and services.
