TIER: exports slump on weak US demand
Latest survey shows drives for growth are likely to remain austere
Taiwanese exporters in November continued its downward trend since September. The demand for electronics and precision instruments from the US has plummeted, which led to the decline in total Taiwanese exports. November exports figure totalled USD 16.78 billion, which saw an 23.3% decline year-on-year. Import figures for November reflected the fall in demands for exports. ...Read more
