Bull market rally in sight?
TIER survey shows continual upward trend
Taiwan’s export sector for April continued to contract as the weakened global demand continues. April exports figure totalled USD 14.85 billion or a 34.3% decline year-on-year from 2008. Import figures for April reflected the fall in export demands. A combination of a fall in of intermediate goods imported as well as decline in commodity prices have translated to a 41.2% import drop year-on-year, or USD 8.89 billions with a trade surplus of USD 2.14 billions.
