TIER reports robust outlook for 2008
A healthy 4.29% growth is expected for Taiwan in its latest forecast
Despite the burgeoning US economic slowdown, the Taiwanese export in December remains robust. Exports grew by 19.8% year on year (YoY) in December, reaching USD 23.48 billion. Although export figure remains upbeat, figure for trade surplus is overcastted by a surging import growth.
